North Macedonia July 2025: Skoda monopolises podium, Geely Coolray in Top 10

The Skoda Kamiq is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in July. Based on data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto , the North Macedonian new car market sinks -18.3% year-on-year in July to 624 units, keeping in mind July 2024 was up 56.6% on the year prior. After 7 months, the year-to-date tally stands at 4,236, off -6.3% over the same period last year. This month Skoda monopolises the podium: the Kamiq (+16.7%) climbs to #1 for its first win since December 2023, the Octavia (+100%) soars to #2 and snaps the YTD lead off the Renault Clio and the Scala is up four ranks on June to #3. Leader last month, the Toyota Corolla (+58.8%) falls to #4 but manages a splendid YoY evolution. Notice also the Seat Ibiza at #5, the VW Taigo at #6 and the Geely Coolray delivering its first ever Top 10 finish at #9. Cyprus July 2025: Top 16 100% SUV, Toyota Yaris Cross up to #3

The Toyota Yaris Cross is the third most popular vehicle in Cyprus in July. Based on data shared with us by our local partners SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT , new car sales in Cyprus progress 5.7% year-on-year in July to 1,438 units, however the year-to-date tally remains in negative territory at -4.8% to 9,658. Kia (-38%) stays in the brands lead despite a devastating YoY loss with 12.7% share vs. 16.9% so far this year. On the contrary Toyota (+43.5%) surges ahead to 11.5% of the market vs. 9% YTD. The next four carmakers underperform with YoY drops, with Volkswagen (-32.8%) hit the hardest. In contrast Renault (+137%), Dacia (+130%), Ford (+113.8%) and Mercedes (+34.1%) all post fantastic gains in the remainder of the Top 10. Over in the models charts, the Kia Sportage (-8.7%) is up four spots on last month to snap the pole position for the third time this year after January and February. We now have access to All brands and All models rankings for Bulgaria. July volumes are up 11.5% year-on-year to 5,283 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 2.7% to 31,978. This month Toyota (+17.5%) is the most popular carmaker in the country with 10.7% share. It distances Dacia up 31.5% to #2 while Skoda gains 18.7% to #3 and Volkswagen is up 15% to #4. In contrast Renault (-37.3%) is in freefall at #5. Citroen (+100%), Kia (+39.9%), Hyundai (+28.6%) and Peugeot (+17.2%) also outpace the market in the remainder of the Top 10. Below, Great Wall (+816.7%), Opel (+42.5%) and Audi (+33.8%) stand out. The Hyundai Tucson is up to #6 in Pakistan in July. According to local manufacturers association PAMA, the Pakistani new light vehicle market gains 28.5% year-on-year in July to 11,034 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 34.8% to 98,381. Note Changan and Kia do not share sales figures with PAMA but are reported to be quite successful here. Suzuki (-17.7%) lodges a mediocre score, the only carmaker in negative this month. It slumps to just 33.4% share vs. 45.3% year-to-date. In contrast Toyota (+100.5%) surges to 30.2% share vs. 24.6% so far this year. Hyundai (+108.7%), Honda (+61.1%), JAC (+46.1%) and Sazgar Haval (+30.9%) also beat the market. Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (-18.9%) stays on top but tumbles down to 21.1% share vs. 43.6% last month. The Toyota Corolla (+118.5%) is estimated to climb back up to #2 ahead of the Sazgar Haval H6 (+30.9%) and Toyota Yaris (+118.8%).
