Kazakhstan February 2025: Jetour breaks into Top 5, Hyundai Mufasa instant blockbuster

The Hyundai Mufasa ranks 5th in Kazakhstan in February. Complete January figures are also included in the data section of this article. After stable results in January at +0.3% to 11,273 registrations, the Kazakh new vehicle market surges 29.8% year-on-year in February to 15,963 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 15.7% to 27,236. Both Hyundai (+44.4%) and Chevrolet (+79.3%) beat the market significantly, asserting their domination with 25.3% and 13% share respectively. Kia (-1.6%) disappoints but still lodges a satisfying 11.3% market share. Outstanding result for Jetour (+113.2%) climbing four spots on last month to #4, a new ranking record for the brand and its first time inside the Kazakh Top 5. Geely (+78.1%), Toyota (+42.6%) and JAC (+41.9%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10. The Skoda Octavia remains the overall leader in Bosnia & Herzegovina. According to data by our local partner CE Auto , new car sales in Bosnia & Herzegovina fall a heavy -14.4% year-on-year in February to just 814 units. This way, the year-to-date tally is now off -7.1% to 1,597. The models podium is unchanged on January, with the Skoda Octavia (-11.9%) leading as usual above the Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Tucson (-10.5%). The VW Golf (+70%) reappears in the Top 10 at equal #3. The Skoda Scala (+30%) is up to #6 while the VW Tiguan (#9) and Renault Clio (#10) also point their bonnet inside the Top 10. Moldova February 2025: Dacia Duster back to #1, Jetour T2 in Top 10

First Top 10 finish for the Jetour T2 in Moldova. According to our Central European partner CE Auto , new car sales in Moldova advance 3% year-on-year in February to 656 units. This means the year-to-date volume is up 8.8% to 1,245. The Dacia Duster (-33.8%) reclaims its traditional top spot despite a heavy year-on-year fall on a particularly high year-ago basis. The Skoda Kodiaq (+54.2%) is down one spot to #2, ahead of the Toyota RAV4 (-42%), Dacia Logan (-29.7%) and Kia Sportage (-50%). The Jetour T2 breaks into the Top 10 for the first time at #7. North Macedonia February 2025: Renault Clio repeats at #1

The Renault Clio remains firmly in the lead in North Macedonia. Data by our local partner CE Auto shows a North Macedonian new car market edges down -2.2% year-on-year in February to 539 sales. The year-to-date tally is up 5.9% to 1,028 units, an excellent result given 2024 registrations over the first two months were up 30.5% on the year prior. The Renault Clio (+81.5%) posts another fantastic score to repeat at #1 with a dominant 9.1% share. As a reminder it ranked #10 over the Full Year 2024. The Skoda Octavia (-11.4%) returns to the its traditional 2nd spot both for the month and YTD. The Kamiq (+88.9%) makes it two Skodas on the podium. Montenegro January 2025: Toyota Yaris best-seller, VW ID.7 #2

The VW ID.7 is the 2nd best-selling vehicle in Montenegro in January. According to our local partner CE Auto , 210 new light vehicles found a buyer in Montenegro in January. As it is always the case for such a tiny market, the models ranking is very volatile, with none of the FY2024 top 3 best-sellers featuring in the January Top 10. The Toyota Yaris takes the lead, but the real surprise this month is the 2nd place of the VW ID.7, albeit with just 10 sales. The Opel Movano is equal #2, with the Renault Captur, Skoda Fabia and Toyota Corolla in tow. The Audi Q7, Lada Niva and Mercedes G Class also make an appearance inside the Top 10. Guadeloupe (France) January 2025: Renault steps up to #1 in weak market

Renault is up 56.8% in Guadeloupe in January. Another French overseas territory, Guadeloupe sees its new car sales fall heavily at -13.6% year-on-year to 1,100 units in January. Renault (+56.8%) sports a fantastic lift and accesses the brands pole position with 18.8% share, overtaking Peugeot (+25.9%). In fact the Top 4 carmakers all defy the negative market with double-digit year-on-year gains: Kia is up 46.7% and four spots to #3 while Dacia is up 32.2% and also four ranks to #4. In contrast Toyota (-19.4%) and Citroen (-30%) suffer. Notice also Opel, third in January 2024 but now outside the Top 10. We only have access to a Top 10 models ranking over the first 9 months 2024, when the market fell 3.6% to 10,618. Over the period, the Peugeot 208 leads the way above the Citroen C3, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Clio. Dacia places the Duster at #5 and the Sandero at #6.
