Montenegro April 2025: Dacia Sandero at 20.5% share

1 in 5 new cars registered in Montenegro in April is a Dacia Sandero. Data by our local partner CE Auto shows a Montenegrin new car market staring at 541 units for April. This means the year-to-date tally is now at 1,391 sales. This month the Dacia Sandero is the runaway leader with no less than 20.5% share. This makes it jump from outside the YTD Top 10 at end of March directly to #1 after four months. The Hyundai Tucson is also very impressive at 9.1% share. The Dacia Duster also leaps from outside the March Top 10 to #3 in April, distancing the Skoda Scala and Toyota Corolla. The Citroen C3 (#9) and Audi Q3 (#10) both crack the Top 10. North Macedonia April 2025: Kia Sportage best-seller in negative market

The Kia Sportage is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in April. According to data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto , new car sales in North Macedonia are down -6.9% year-on-year in April to 650 units, leading to a year-to-date volume off -8% to 2,216. The Kia Sportage (-15%) is the most popular car in the country this month and for the first time since February 2024. The Renault Clio (+20.8%) rallies back up six spots on March to land at #2 and easily holds onto the YTD top spot. Leader last month, the Skoda Octavia (-10.7%) falls to #3 but remains #2 so far in the year. The Renault Master makes a rare appearance inside the North Macedonian Top 10 at #4 while Skoda places four models in the Top 7: add the Scala, Kamiq and Karoq. Slovakia April 2025: Skoda (+21.6%), Kia (+24.6%) top solid market

Skoda Kodiaq sales are up 87.6% year-on-year in April. Solid month for once in Slovakia in April at +7.9% to 8,322 sales. The year-to-date tally remains in negative however at -7.7% to 28,699. Both Skoda (+21.6%) and Kia (+24.6%) post tremendous gains atop the brands charts, leading to 21.9% and 9.7% shares respectively. In contrast Volkswagen (-8.4%), Hyundai (-5.5%) and Toyota (-23.1%) all decline, with the latter now down to #4 year-to-date, overtaken by Volkswagen. Audi (+201.1%) surges to #9 with Peugeot (+75.6%), Citroen (+66.8%) and Ford (+26.1%) in fantastic shape. Alfa Romeo (+477.8%), Jeep (+186.2%) and Cupra (+107.4%) stand out below. Over in the models charts, the Skoda Octavia (-8.1%) keeps the lead at 4.8% share, distancing the Kia Ceed (+61.4%) delivering another fantastic result. The Hyundai i20 (+83.7%) reaches its highest ranking since June 2023 at #6, while the Skoda Karoq (+54.4%), Skoda Fabia (+41.9%) and Kia Sportage (+32.8%) also excel. The Citroen C3 (+155.6%)...

Colombia April 2025: Kia and Mazda CX-30 edge into top spots

The Kia K3 is the best-selling vehicle in Colombia year-to-date. New vehicle sales in Colombia advance 13.8% year-on-year in April to 17,430 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 20.4% to 67,304. Kia (+29%) overtakes Renault (+19.7%) for just two units but remains #2 year-to-date. Mazda (+48.2%) surges ahead and gains two spots on last month to end up on the third step of the podium. In contrast Toyota (-25.4%), #1 a year ago , and Chevrolet (-22.9%) both freefall. Hyundai (+112.2%) shoots up at #8 ahead of Volkswagen (+39.2%) also in great shape. BYD (+391.7%) is once again the performer of the month but drops one rank on March to #10, a ranking it also holds year-to-date.  Over in the models charts, the Mazda CX-30 (+13.1%) snaps the lead for the first time since last August, just one sale above the Kia K3 (+64.4%), which holds the #1 spot year-to-date. Uruguay April 2025: BYD up to record 2nd place

BYD holds 10.2% of the Uruguayan market in April. 5,078 new cars found a buyer in Uruguay in April, a -2.8% year-on-year contraction. The year-to-date tally is up 9.9% to 20,559. The Top 4 carmakers all defy the market decline with double-digit gains. Fiat advances 10.9% to 14% share vs. 16.9% so far this year, followed by BYD up 95.9% to 10.4% share, its second best below the 12% it hit in June 2024. BYD also accesses to the 2nd spot for the second time ever. Renault (+21.6%) is up one rank on last month to #3 while Volkswagen (+36.9%) is up three to #4. Completely imploding is Chevrolet (-51.4%) at #5 but still #2 year-to-date. Chery (+80.2%) also shines in the remainder of the Top 10. As a whole, Chinese carmakers account for 29.1% of the Uruguayan market in April.
